Install on Linux

Linux builds are not published yet—FileLever is on macOS now; this page tracks the planned Linux build when it ships.

Status

Linux builds are not published yet. The current public release is FileLever v1.1.1, and it only includes macOS DMG files.

The download page will point to the Linux asset as soon as a public build is available. GitHub Releases remains an alternate mirror once Linux assets ship.

What to expect

No Linux package or AppImage is available yet.
The site currently reserves FileLever-Linux-x86_64.AppImage as the planned portable build name.
Packaging options may expand after the first Linux release lands.

Planned install flow

Open the download page.
Download the published Linux asset when the card becomes available.
Mark the file executable if your desktop environment does not do it for you.
Launch the app locally and review any desktop security prompt.

Notes

The first Linux release is expected to be a portable desktop build rather than a distro-specific package.
