Use Large File Reviewer when you need to understand where storage is going without treating every large file as disposable. Start with the biggest opportunities, then check the location and purpose before you act.
Focus the review
Choose the folders or drives where space is tight: a Downloads folder, project volume, media library, archive, external drive, direct Dropbox folder, or Google Drive folder synced locally with the Google Drive client. Set a minimum file size to skip everyday files and focus on old videos, installers, exports, archives, virtual machines, or forgotten backups.
You can also exclude caches, temporary folders, and generated project files when they do not belong in the review.
Use the right view for the question

Review file size alongside the full path, category, and modified date. A 10 GB file in Downloads may be an old export; the same size in an active project may be essential.
Choose the right action

Large does not mean unnecessary. A large project export, family video, or backup may still be valuable. FileLever makes the storage impact visible; the decision stays with you.
For Google Drive client sync folders, delete actions are local filesystem deletes. The Google Drive client reconciles those changes with your Drive account afterward.
For Dropbox folders, FileLever connects directly to the account you authorize. Remote delete and move actions require write access and explicit approval.
A practical example
On a nearly full laptop, a 500 MB minimum scan might surface an old video export, an installer you no longer need, a project archive already stored elsewhere, and backups that still matter. Open or reveal each item, archive what you want to retain, and remove only the files you have verified are safe to lose.
